Now into our fifth year the Spring Press Camp has become a permanent fixture in the ProCycle Hire cycling calendar. Taking place just before the busy season begins a number of select suppliers visit the Island to road test some of the new products available for the year ahead. Each Press Camp is a valuable opportunity to promote the Island, our business and test products that may be selected later for our customers via ProCycle Hire.
This year three Dutch companies, Koga, Van Nicholas and Ffwd joined the camp. The group was a mix of 10 riders, CEO’s, Directors and Marketing Managers, plus various journalists all looked after by ProCycle Hire for three great days of cycling and testing.
This year even the apparel was designed exclusively for the event with limited edition kit including the logo’s of Koga, Van Nicholas, Ffwd and the iconic Hotel illa d’or, Puerto Pollensa, the base for all our visitors.
Classic Routes
This year we selected a number of classic routes for our special guests, showcasing the very best of what the Island offers. With memorable tramuntana climbs, interior country lanes lined with wild flowers and magnificent ocean views the three days encapsulated why Mallorca has become the European destination for Pro teams and amateur cyclists from all over the World.

For all those who join our EXCLUSIVE VIP World Club next year we will be providing an exclusive opportunity for one member to join us for the 2017 Spring Press Camp, Mallorca. 2017 Spring Press Camp Prize Draw Terms & Conditions – Open only to World Club VIP Members who have active membership on the 30th September 2016. Prize includes access to Press Camp bikes and equipment or similar from ProCycle Hire available stock. Rider may bring his/her own equipment and clothing if required. Prize includes bike hire and clothing only and does not include insurance, flights, transfer or accommodation. The winner is welcome to attend any evening events that are organised as part of the event. The winner will be notified of the dates in advance. The prize is not transferable in regard to it’s content, value and duration and cannot be transferred to another individual. Please note that a certain level of fitness is required to join what is ultimately a sporting event. Please take note of the distance and climbing height before accepting the prize if successful. All VIP World Club members will be entered automatically if their membership is active on September 30th 2016. If in the event you cannot attend a second draw will take place to find a winner.
